Our property is in beautiful Cardiff by the Sea, west of the I-5, with ocean and San Elijos Lagoon views. The Del Mar Thoroughbred Race track is approximately 2.5 miles away.

The property is a free standing 2,500 s.f. house, 2 story house within the Seaside Cardiff residential community. Seaside Cardiff is conveniently located less than 1/4 mile off I-5, and has a beautiful pool and spa that is private for the 44 home community.
There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in the home. The 3rd bedroom will be used as an owner lock-out, and not part of the rental. So, the property to be rented would be a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home, approximately 2,300 s.f.
The home has views of the ocean and lagoon from both levels. The open kitchen has beautiful granite countertops, stone flooring, and all stainless appliances, with a 42" built in refrigerator, and under cabinet wine refrigerator.
Family room and dinning room have glass sliding doors accessing the 30' balcony overlooking the pool, with ocean and lagoon views.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, the large master and 2nd bedroom. All upstairs is wood flooring, and the master has a beautiful, comfortable, large wool floor rug. The master bedroom is approx. 500 s.f., with fireplace, 60" smart tv, and amazing ocean and lagoon views from the balcony. The bathroom has a large jetted tub and walk in shower, with travertine stone flooring and countertops. There is plenty of closet space with a walk-in closet adjacent to the master bath. The master has a top of the line, King sized Temperpedic bed with remote controlled adjustments for leg elevation, backrest elevation and more.

Second bedroom has a queen sized bed, with adjacent bathroom with tub/shower combo and two sinks.

The home has new central air conditioning, built in 48" outdoor BBQ, outdoor waterfall, and spacious seating.

Laundry room with wash/dryer

Built in chairlift from garage to main living area for groceries, or a just a comfortable ride for bad knees or back.

There is a two car garage. One spots can be made available. Property has a two car driveway for daytime parking, but overnight parking is prohibited per HOA CC&R's.

This is a rental for the Del Mar racing season, July 17 through September 7, 2025. The rental amount for this term would be $20,000. A few days before and a few days after racing season dates would be ok, there is some flexibility. THIS RENTAL IS FOR A MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY OF 2 INDIVIDUALS. 1 dog may be acceptable based on size and breed. No dogs would be allowed on the furniture, and there is a small dog run area on the side of the house for dog to do his/her business.

    "Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "
