This has to be the absolute worst school my child has ever attended. The facility is outdated and old. There are many young and inexperienced teachers. The quality of education your child will get will be poor. If I could go back in time I would do everything to have my child to attend a different school. Luckily the principal who did nothing to stop bullying is leaving.

Phenomenal school. My third child is there now. Rising sophomore. 2/3 with iep/504. Amazing support. Love that many of the teachers are young males who can relate to my kids. (Who also went to Yorktown). The level of classes they offer really are better than some of the private schools in the area. The communication is good But you do need to reach out. It is NOT A private school are there are many students so I formally don’t expect them to hold my hand.

I am a recent alumni and had an incredible experience at DHMS!The teachers and staff were very kind and helpful! All of my classes were really fun and actually enjoyable, which made me learn a lot! Also, even though I joined in 8th grade, the other students made me feel so welcomed, they were very nice and respectful! I made so many friends and unforgettable memories in this school and I wish I didn’t have to go to high school and leave DHMS! Plus, I took Spanish for one of my electives and it was honestly the best language course ever! I learned so much and always looked forward to Spanish class because it was really fun! I really loved DHMS!
