Ot is a good School, and I think that it will be better this year 2024 - 2025.

The information on this page is out of date by at least three years. It lists Wisdom at the old address, with the old name, and the old scores. While its test scores are not the greatest if compared with the 'best schools' in Texas, it is a school capable of taking students from a variety of backgrounds, believes and origins and turning them into people who can handle the world beyond school. If you want your student to have a fantastic education, with the best programs, and stack on every advantage they have, I'll be honest and say this isn't that school yet. Every year we work toward that goal, but the realities of budget and population are still just that, a reality. If you want more, you'll have to move to a school with more funding in a richer area.However, if you are zoned to our school, your student will receive a worthwhile education and be ready to be an adult. It isn't perfect, but it isn't a 1/10.

This year, it was deeply disheartening to witness the decline in both school culture and teacher morale at The School of Saint George Place. Much of this deterioration stemmed from a lack of integrity in the new leadership and an overwhelming emphasis on standardized test scores.Basic facility maintenance was consistently neglected—bathrooms remained in unsanitary conditions for most of the year, only being addressed when a district visit was anticipated. More concerning, however, was the absence of any meaningful effort to foster a warm, welcoming environment—one that inspires a love of learning, supports social-emotional growth, encourages collaboration, and cultivates student leadership. These are the foundational elements of a thriving school.When a school is reduced to a test-prep factory, everything else begins to unravel. Student behavior worsens, instructional quality declines, and passionate, certified teachers either leave or are micromanaged to the point of burnout. No other profession would accept such a lack of autonomy or trust. This narrow, data-driven approach fails to honor students’ individual learning needs and communicates—day after day—that their voices and experiences don't matter. Communication with leadership has been poor, and attempts to resolve issues often leave parents feeling misled and disillusioned. I sincerely hope Principal Bui takes time to reflect and recognizes that without a balanced, student-centered vision, the true heart of education is lost.
