3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageColby Glass Elementary is an incredible school, and the reason we chose to buy our house in this area of San Antonio. We are a military family, recently moving to San Antonio over a year ago, which has resulted in my son having attended 3 different elementary schools. Colby Glass has been by far the best elementary school he has attended, even exceeding my high expectations. He has had guidance support as a new student, is being taught at an advanced level for his age, and has thrived socially by attending all of the wonderful events the school has organized. Choosing to settle down in this school district has been the greatest blessing, for both my son at Glass and my daughter at Pat Neff (special shout out to the Neff MS Band, which has nurtured my daughter into being a brilliant trumpet player). If given a choice between any schools in area, I would choose Glass every time. Also, they are almost finished with the construction of a new gymnasium, which will only add to brilliance of this school!Parent Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 270 E Skyview Dr.

"I love the Roosevelt neighborhood for its vibrant atmosphere and undeniable sense of safety. The tree-lined streets and well-maintained sidewalks create a welcoming environment, making it a favorite spot for residents and visitors alike. One of the charming aspects that draw me to this neighborhood is the sight of numerous people leisurely walking their dogs. The safety of Roosevelt is evident in the close-knit community where neighbors look out for one another. The low crime rates and well-lit streets contribute to an overall feeling of security. Whether it's strolling through the local parks or enjoying a cup of coffee at a nearby café, there's a prevailing sense of ease that permeates the area. The presence of people walking their dogs adds a delightful touch to daily life in Roosevelt. It's a testament to the neighborhood's pet-friendly nature and the shared joy of pet ownership. Dogs of all shapes and sizes can be seen enjoying the green spaces, fostering a sense of camaraderie among dog owners. In conclusion, my love for Roosevelt is deeply rooted in the combination o"

"As San Antonio continues to grow, the Inner Loop 410 area is becoming the diamond of the city. The area has prime museums, parks, farmer markets, shopping, and a small town feel. Admittedly, Ridgeview is a transitioning neighborhood that offers great value, most importantly for families is that it’s a part of the North East School District and a small pocket of homes are located in the highly sought after Alamo Heights School District."
