About this House

Wheelchair accessible 2 bed/1 bath house

This cute, cozy, energy-efficient house has a zero-point entry, and doors are a minimum of 3 feet wide. The house has ample turn radius for wheelchairs, and there are grab bars around the toilet. The step-in shower has a bench for seating. Comfortable, accessible living, all on one floor!

The kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and a dishwasher; the washer/dryer hook-up has space for full-sized units. A washer/dryer set are available for rent for $65.00/month.

For this unit, Hilltop provides lawn care and trash service; tenant is responsible for water service through the City of Eldon and electricity through Ameren Missouri.

Pet rent is $25/month per animal, with a maximum of two pets.

Interested? Your first step is for each adult (18 and older) to submit a FREE screening application. A $50 fee that covers background/credit check, ID/pay verification, and pet verification will be required of each adult applicant later in the process if you are qualified and interested in pursuing a lease. We do not do showings until we have done the initial screening of each applicant.

We do annual leases, and we require a security deposit equal to one month's rent.

In addition to the security deposit, we require tenants to purchase and maintain a renters' insurance policy that will provide liability coverage and will cover their belongings in the event of a loss.

Need a little extra space? We offer convenient onsite storage units. As a tenant, you'll receive a 10% annual discount on any storage unit rental. Once your lease is signed, you'll receive a discount code that can be used to claim your resident rate.

It's a simple and secure way to keep seasonal items, extra furniture, or anything else you'd like close by.

    "the side walks are awful. I wish we had suitable walking paths all over the town instead of one mile by the Highschool football field. I walk my dogs frequently and I dont feel safe having to walk in the street mist of the time because the old paths are so badly broken and over grown, I cant walk over them. Other than the sidewalks, my drive to and from the grocery stores and shopping is only 5 minutes. Everything is close together including the school district. "

    "I do not suggest dog owners live in my neighborhood. Most people here have no sense of space and let their dogs run anywhere and the worst part is the city will not so anything about it. "

    "I’ve lived in Eldon for a year now and I do not recommend my neighborhood. There is a high amount of drug usage. Neighbors are not friendly and even break laws. The city and law enforcement will not do anything if you are renting. Moving as soon as summer comes. "

    "One the best subdivisions in Eldon that is family friendly. Great place for first time home owners or retirees. Feel safe and walk the neighborhood, or ride your bike. No through traffic, typically only homeowners. Well maintained homes, on large lots, make these subdivision feel "open" and not crowded. Streets well maintained year round. I know an RN, VP of Bank, Charter employee all in this neighborhood with families."
