8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a terrible experience, actually terrible is too mild. My grandson was so excited to start kindergarten, he is a 'people-person' and is a very, very kind little boy. He noticed another boy in his class had no friends and he felt bad for him, so I suggested he introduce himself and see if the boy needed a friend...bad advice on my part. My grandson went up to the boy at recess and said "Hi, I'm (name), would you like to be my friend?", the other kid swore at him, flipped him off, pushed him to the ground and pelted him with rocks. He came home with marks all over his back. All the school did was have the kid (who admitted he did that) stay in for recess one day. The school admits they have a section of the playground that the cameras do not reach, an area where there is NO supervision. The people that are suppose to watch the kids don't, it happened again after I was told they would protect my grandson, TWICE he came home with marks on his back from kids throwing rocks at him. One day he came home so hungry and with his first headache, a girl sat next to him at lunch and ate all his food, took everything away from him. Another day he got off the bus with marks all over his face...a girl pinched his face so hard he still had marks the next day, and they were sitting right behind the bus driver. One day his teacher handed out popcorn to all the kids, skipping my grandson because she didn't want to read the ingredients to see if it was vegetarian...popcorn. He had to sit there and watch all the other kids eat it, and it's one of his favorite snacks. I felt it was sketchy the first time I went there to enroll him, the bathroom door in the cafeteria was faulty, really really hard to push all the way open for an adult let alone a small child, when I pointed it out to the principal she just shrugged it off, looked at my grandson and said "well it'll make you stronger". A dangerous door and that's her reply. This school is also actually teaching kids that spiders are insects, my grandson knows that spiders are arachnids so he was really confused when his school work expected him to draw a line from spider to insect, he left it blank. These people are not smart enough nor caring enough to be teaching and taking care of kids.Parent Review11mo ago2 Reviews - Fern Ridge Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a horrible school with a horrible principal, a physically disgusting woman who is cruel and cold-hearted. I don't recommend sending your kid to this school. They ruined both of my kids, at the last moment. They allow an unsafe environment. My good student paid for somebody else's unsafe behavior and was publicly shamed.Parent Review11mo ago10 Reviews - Elmira High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood school but we have lost so many electives. Our kids need a core education but they need variety to make them well rounded people in life. I appreciate the staff, they do a great job. The rest of the community needs to realize they can not keep voting down bond measures and expect things to improve. its our community, our kids and our future. We need to invest in all of that, and not just financially. The admin for our school has changed positively in the past few years, now let's support them. Stil alot of drinking and partying. The school has cracked down a little on the athletes but not enough. This could be a great school if we stay on the right track. Much improvement in the last 3 years, but still need more.Parent Review12y ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near 26663 Cantrell Rd.

"Dog owners would like to know it is safe place to walk your dog. Always dogs on leash and always people picking up after their dogs. "

"It’s a college neighborhood so I suggest raising a family in a different part of town. The rent would be more affordable for a family elsewhere in Eugene "

"We are on a quiet street without street parking allowed. We really like that we can walk our dogs and there’s only people around that live here. Usually not any strange people or riff-raff. All of our neighbors keep good care of their yards and take pride in their homes."
