7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving our 2nd child attend Chapelfield, our 6th year here. We have positive reviews for this school. Both our children have thrived with the various teachers. The teachers are accommodating to what children needs. Chapelfield is a phenomenal school!Parent Review3y ago - Gahanna West Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school teaches to the tests. The teachers are young and very nice, but the teaching methods are garbage. My son is being forced to draw pictures in math when a simple formula is all that is needed. This pulls down his self esteem because his teacher will not let him use his brain. My other child was given an 'A' on a writing assignment because it was full of detail. The problem is it was full of misspellings and bad grammar. Not sure if that is acceptable in high school or college. More time is spent on preparing for tests then actual learning. There are not very many sports, no soccer, and all the schools share a baseball team. I do think the Orchestra teacher puts forth lots of effort in working with the kids. I hope that gets recognized.Parent Review10y ago - Lincoln High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children attended High Point elementary and had an absolutely amazing experience. It was all downhill from there. They went from truly caring and engaged teachers to mediocre middle school teachers and then onto high school, with most teachers that really could’ve cared less about my students. The administration is even worse. Trying to get in contact with a VP would take WEEKS. I have a daughter with dyslexia and her 504 plan was completely ignored. Nothing was done that was supposed to be done for her accommodations and the bullying is absolutely rampant in the school, with nothing ever being done about it. “One Pride” only apples to select students and others are tossed aside. We actually had such a terrible experience that after my oldest graduated last year, and my youngest was heading into her sophomore year, We pulled her from the school. She was unenrolled in July and I got a call just a couple weeks ago asking if she had been ill since she hadn’t been to any of her classes for the first SEVEN WEEKS of school. So you thought my daughter was supposed to be in class every day for 7 weeks and this is the first phone call?? I have no idea where they come up with the 20:1 ratio. My kids have never been in a class with only 20 classmates EVER. We move to Gahanna 12 years ago because of the school district, but unfortunately, we came to regret that decisions once they moved on from elementary.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 266 Cotswold Pl.

"It’s like many other neighborhoods and therefore not really unique. I’m not sure a neighborhood needs to be unique, opposed to simply being a place to call home."
