"I’ve lived here nearly 6 yrs and love it! Small town feel, with Gainesville the University of Florida and multiple large hospitals. It’s a safe place to raise your kids. And the county motto is “where nature and culture collide” make sure to visit the springs! "
  • Zeida Gonzalez
"They would like having a backyard and it’s peaceful here. Dogs are not loose here, people walk them with leashes so you don’t have to worry."
  • Samantina
"Beautiful small town and we love it here. It’s safe friendly and still very private so you can live your life’s "
  • Samantina
"Privacy is the best part. It’s clean and a beautiful area of Florida with natural springs, rivers and more "
  • Shelby G.
"Fairly easy for getting where I need to go. Easy access to Gainesville and Lake City. Decent schooling! Fun events happen locally all of the time, and shopping in the area is fairly nice as well."
  • Katherine F.
"People will like there is no one walking their dogs because their land is vast and has plenty of playing space. They might not like that there are snakes and scorpions in the area. "
  • Steven N. L. G.
"Depending on the neighbor you get is what really matters we’ve had great neighbors who loved our dogs like we did and then there’s those who just live to complain and hate everything "
  • Myangel_402
"Rural area, I have never noticed a bus or taxi in the area, but the drives are always nice. Nice scenery and minimal traffic. "
  • Kaitlyn C.
"Halloween and holidays. People are overall very laid back and friendly. They do like their privacy also ."
  • Lindattheartist
"I've lived here for nearly 20 years. It is a nice quiet neighborhood on 1 acre lots. Deer are seen late at night and mornings. It is a lovely blend of country meets subdivision"
  • Keri M.
"A rated school. Nice neighborhood, quiet and wooded. It is great to see wildlife hanging around the homes"
  • Tracy M.
"it's peaceful and not alot of fast traffic. Most other animals are kept in a fenced yard, so it's safe for you and your dog to walk and not be bothered."
  • Noliveth2003
"This is a great neighborhood and a really great town. Its been 15 years since I moved here. The people around us is amazing... "
  • Janice M.
"We live here and love it but need to downsize due to retirement. It is the safest area in this county with about 12 to 15 police officers living in the area. In the spring the whole community smells of flowers. It is truly a wonderful place to live. "
  • sladesdanes
"I live in the area .. If you love the country life then High Springs is the place to live. It is a great place for young children but not so good for the teens not alot for them to do .. Lots of Horse back riding and swimming in the summer mnths but slows down in the winter. The kids tend to get board and get into trouble a bit more. "
  • Valerie
"Historic High Springs. Beautiful springs for diving. Parks and river access"
