    "The surrounding neighborhood is a little rough. Be prepared for a war zone on the 4th and New Years. But it’s all in good fun. Never had any problems and my neighbors are great people. It’s so close to the foothills as well. I’d be in this area in a heartbeat. "

    "While I see a lot of folks walking their dogs around town, I think a big draw is how close we are to the Stanislaus river. There’s plenty of trails within a short drive. Oakdale rec, Mchenry rec and there’s a decent sized dog park down the road in oakdale."
