Check it out while you can!.............At a time when Vermont was just a 'baby', this early Farmhouse was built along the country dirt road on Maple Hill. The people of the time were hard workers and took satisfaction in a job well done and their wants were simple... a quiet porch to sit on, a warm hearth to dry their wool socks, and some cleared land to graze their sheep and cows. Not much has changed here on Maple Hill. For people that enjoy those same things, there is now a garage to turn wrenches and keep the winter snow off the mower, or cars. Its a lot warmer these days too, as the owner has added insulation over the years. Appliances make some of those chores easier, but the same Farmhouse feels are there every day. Wood fire. Shaded porches. Big bedrooms. A brook winding along the eastern edge of the land. There's very little for traffic, and you likely know who is driving by, when there is. Deer in the back yard and a partial view of Spruce Mountain from the front. As life is changing so fast these days, its good to know that 'home' can still be had the way it always was.

My children have had very bad experiences at this school. They have fallen through the cracks. One of my children is six behind grade level due to complete ineptness from the special education department, and despite years of me begging the school to improve they do not make any changes. Bullying is a constant problem, supposedly there is a no bullying policy but nothing is actually done. Going to the school has traumatized my children and destroyed their self-esteem. Moving to this school district was the biggest mistake of my life, I feel like it has not only ruined my children's childhoods, but very likely has taken their futures away as well. Many teachers appear friendly and seem to care about the kids, but they continue to be unsuccessful in their teaching and to turn a blind eye to bullying. If you have a child that is popular and does not have any learning differences they may do okay. If you have a child like mine that has learning disabilities, your child's needs will not be met. It's not just my kids, I know many other parents whose kids are in the same situation.
