7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s mostly a horrible system. The students are horrible. Most all the middle school students has been bullies. They are never caught since most teachers don’t see it. Some teachers are just rude. But some are actually decent. The faculty is difficult and really horrible to talk to. Especially the principals there are horrible. Not many students show good “tiger traits”. They bully, and it gets bad.Other Review5y ago9 Reviews - Smallwood Drive School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSmallwood is such a wonderful little school that my children & I are so lucky to be a part of. We started during COVID and the school did their best to keep the fun community spirit. Now we get to start all over again with our youngest entering K and the experience has been top notch. They do so much to include the community and neighborhood in their initiatives, like the Flag Day & Halloween parades through the neighborhood - so cute! Mr. Crozier, the school principal is wonderful and truly takes the time to listen to students and parents. He also tries to implement any suggestions he receives to make the school even better. The teachers and staff I’ve met have all been wonderful and you can tell they love their job and the kids they teach. My older child has stayed in touch with all her past teachers and has been able to thrive in this school. Many parents are involved and show up for events. The school as a whole makes you feel safe, their is a security guard/Police Officer (the data on this site is outdated) and the school has procedures in place as well as good security measures, while still making a welcoming environment.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near 258 E Treehaven Rd.

"The streets in Buffalo New York are terrible and need to be repaired and maintained properly, not just patches in the roads. "

"I have lived at shady acres 10 plus years. It went from a happy fun loving comfortable place to live with hundreds of trees ,great people and respectful neighbors. That all changed once harmony communities bought the place . Once they bought it you are not treated like a tenant you are treated like property, they have made up rules on the fly , purposely fine you without any notification increase rent to the max every year with no justification, try to implement illegal extra charges . The management is a dictatorship along with his boss who will never call you back on a complaint or fix any bad situation. Horrible place to live, Horrible management. "

"I’ve lived in the neighborhood for 30 years. Even though it has what’s considered a Buffalo zip, it’s actually in the Town of Tonawanda. Good schools, great Town services. The neighborhood is very diverse, I’m white and a lesbian. We have “traditional” white families and also many new homeowners are immigrants from around the world. There’s a new playground in the area also a Boys & Girls Club that is great for after school care. We are within walking distance of the Niagara River with easy access to both the 190 and 290 expressways "
