Description

This is a great living situation in a large home (3,600 sq ft) in a safe quiet neighborhood. I have two rooms from rent both with new beds, new carpeting and plenty of space to call your own! One is available immediately and it has a large closet new full size bed and a dresser for $500.00 a month and the other is available on December 1st which is the entire lower level of my home as it comes with a new queen sized bed, dresser, a large closet and it's own living area for $595.00 a month.

Owner pays all utilities which include gas, electrical, cable, cable box and Wi-Fi. I am not necessarily looking for families or couples as I am trying to keep this home a quiet environment for all that live here. We can talk about this when you view my home along with any other questions you might have. Due upon moving in would be 1st month rent, last month rent and a damage deposit which are noted on an agreement that will be prepared for both of our protections. There is absolutely no smoking in my home, and there is off street parking available. This is a month to month agreement which means you can terminate the agreement by giving the owner a full month notice and the owner will by giving you a 30 day notice if it isn't working out for me as well. There is no long term lease which is desirable by most renters that have stayed here.

    "I lived a couple of blocks away for 18 years. While everything in the review from 6 years ago was definitely true, I know for a fact that activity has greatly improved. The scsu attendance is greatly reduced, so the walk- by traffic has diminished significantly. The university had extended their discipline of student activity to include bad behavior off-campus. On the downside, there are far fewer events held on campus. It is wonderful to walk to downtown, even to Lake George and to the public library, depending on how much exercising you want to do! Multiple bus routes make a stop at Miller Library so it is very convenient to get around. The Neighborhood’s homeowners would welcome the Rehab of this beautiful jem. There is an historical preservation committee, and the members have a great deal of experience in returning homes to their initial glory. As this is on auction, it could be that the pipes were frozen, and any buyer would be looking at the replacement of the plumbing system. Check the utility records to see if the usage was high during the winter. Good luck searching for the right house for you and your family!"

We appreciate the diversity of the neighborhood. It is generally very safe although there are places to avoid due to the occupants. We lock our doors and I don’t let my elementary school son walk alone around the block for safety, but I am a cautious person. It’s a busy, but quiet neighborhood. "
