"many dog people live here. easy and close drive to dog parks. many vets from which to choose here. flat walking areas for dogs. a few pet stores in the area, too."
  • Delisa P.
"There aren’t any street lights so be sure to have a flashlight if you walk around at night. The night skies are beautiful because of the low light pollution. "
  • Erothermal
"lots of other dog owners always walking around the neighborhood. "
  • Elohrn
"I live in a rural sub-division of Green Valley, on 10 acres and dirt roads. I love it because I'm connected to Nature instead of concrete and asphalt. The main detractor, over the 20 years I've lived here, are "city folks" who move here, then are afraid of the dark and pollute the night sky with irritatingly bright lights, also usually pointed at their neighbors. We are within the "dark skies" range of Mt. Hopkins' Whipple Observatory, but Pima County is infamous for ignoring anything that might possibly save our fragile Sonoran Desert or is connected with nature instead of money."
  • Moe S.
"Great quiet place, close to everything, friendly wonderful neighbors- helpful, professional people. "
  • Calbugsboutique
"Love Madeira highlands rocks! There is a Facebook page set up for the whole neighborhood to go around and find hand painted rocks "
  • Erothermal
"it has a small town friendly feel but the houses are not right on top of each other and it is quiet "
