The teachers really care about the kids, are experienced and spend a lot of time and effort assigning cool projects etc. The students and families are pretty awesome. Middles school will always be middle school but my family has gone in eyes wide open and been impressed. And I have to say, if anyone is worried about the rigor of teaching being up to par, my middleschooler and many kids friends who went to Dewitt for elementary school (whoohoo!) scored almost off the charts awesome on state tests last year. Like, we are talking top scores in Ohio. I am writing here to give the teachers credit for their hours of hard work, their passion and fun that went into making all that learning happen.
