6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I went here it had water bugs crawling in there and stuff and it was nasty man and the teachers blame you for everything I was wearing a hellfire shirt from stranger things so many good compliments the old principal was fine but the new one on no he made me wear a sweatshirt in spring and I was getting milk and he yelled at me for getting milk and a spoon. The community is wonderful, and events like the spring fair, concerts, etc. were particularly nice in the beginning to help you feel connected and included at Kingswood. The school meets its challenges with incredible hard work, determination, and compassion. I hope that incoming parents continue to be involved - it is so rewarding and really contributes to making the school what it is, from a family perspective. Teachers will rarely listen to or try to understand a student's point of view. The administration will ignore many student concerns without any investigation unless parents interfere. Many of the work handed is just busy work and rarely has an impact on student learning. There are some helpful teachers but there are even more cruel teachers. It's incredibly hard to fix grades that a student didn't deserve without parental interference. "I commute to Duke Street in downtown DURHAM (40 miles round trip) M-F. Have transponder in car and use the tollway—typically takes 30 mins each direction. Walk to H-Mart, HT, & Publix. Never used the bus. Great biking trails in Cary. Ride bike often."

"It calm and has a logos variety of age groups. Everyone is friendly and respectful and easy to get along with. I also enjoy the location of the complex, it’s centrally located and conveniently placed. Traffic is never a huge issue and problems with overcrowding isn’t an issue.
