4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give a less than 1 star for this school, I would. This school is racist and complete chaos. If your child is a person of color and/or has any sort of disability I would not send them to this school. The Principal has no idea what she is doing and has no idea how to lead a team. She believes that you can punish the disability out of a child.Parent Review1y ago - Mounds View Senior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is just finishing his Sophomore year at Mounds View HS. I have had consistent contact with his School Dean, Ryan P., who has been amazing for the past 2 years. Anytime there is a concern with anything, Ryan is right there to support us through to a resolution. My son has always felt comfortable reaching out whenever he needed anything or had questions and so have I. I never hear about anyone bullying my son or his friends and they seem to be comfortable when I drop them off each morning. My son has a 504B plan, which means that the teachers are aware that he has dyslexia (diagnosed when he was 5 years old). This is an academically challenging school, which concerned me initially, but after 2 years here my son is an A/B student and is taking Advanced Placement classes. I am so happy that we decided for him to attend Mounds View HS.Other Review10mo ago - Valentine Hills Elementary School

"I have lived in this area for 1 month now and I feel very confident walking my dog. There are a lot of dog owners in the area. But people don’t say hello on the street when you meet them. For a small neighborhood, I would think it would be friendlier. "

"There are many parks and recreations in this area. It used to be very safe but the last few years more crime is happening spontaneously. Teach your children to seek help at a home if they feel they are a target for criminals. There are still good people in the neighborhood."
