"There are nearby parks / dog parks and a lot of dogs live in the neighborhood so you will have plenty of opportunity for socialization. There are a handful of dog friendly businesses, too! "
  • Zhili1512
"I like it because when my neighbor walks with their dogs and they are always smiling and nice to us. Theyโ€™re so clean and keep everything in neat condition. I feel more comfortable with them. Their dogs are very friendly "
  • Trulia User
"most dog owners wouldnโ€™t like the poop all over the streets and then lots of trash too because dogs might explore the garbage bags and stuff."
  • Trulia User
"ive lived in this neighborhood my whole life. i really enjoy having the neighbors i do. they are always there if u need them. "
  • Trulia User
"I love this place but, there is always CREEPS staring at me and making weird comments to me mostly where i live, Maybe it wont happen to you but it happens to me. And im pretty young. Parking gets taken up easily and there is dog poop everywhere, not on sidewalks mostly near trees. Robbery, drugs and other crimes happen here a lot. There is also so much drugged people. But my neighbors are good, they are friendly. ALSO, you might see random animals in your yard. Well, what I heard, but they are not harmful."
  • RB
"Lower Moyamensing is a wonderful neighborhood. It's a mix of long tine residents and newbies, people are very friendly, it's not uncommon to see neighbors hanging it's together in the summer. While there are a number of good restaurants in the neighborhood, it's also just across Snyder fron East Passyunk's bars, restaurants and shops. Easy access to Center City via the BSL and buses, on a nice day it's a half hour walk. A hidden gem, great 19th century rowhomes still significantly less than those just North of Snyder"
  • Cb13
"My commute is very easy being so close to the subway!! I would highly recommend this area to anyone looking to move"
  • Landlin19
"good area. Neighbors are very good, like friends, donโ€™t be shy, I like to live here, there are also many parks, shopping is super convenient."
  • Lsrn1111
"New to the neighborhood so still getting to know it but itโ€™s got a lot to offer. Lots of places to eat and has a Starbucks and bank close by. Just doesnโ€™t have a grocery store. "
  • Davidsiwakoti
"Dog owners would not like the environment because of trashes around the streets. Sometimes dogs pick dirty trashes thinkingโ€™s as toy. "
  • Shahadat H.
"Good and nice area. I living there almost 4 years. People very nice and helpful. Itโ€™s better than west Philadelphia. "
  • Olivia
"There are many families and schools in the neighborhood but not many places for young children to play "
  • Maborger
"I moved here a year ago to save money on rent. There are not many healthy restaurants within walking distance."
  • Maborger
"Your dog will have to poop on cement, and there are no trees to shade you when you take your dog on a walk."
  • Jessica C.
"Parking is horrendous, plan to drive around for an hour. Itโ€™s enough to make you want to leave the city. "
  • Aaron H.
"diverse neighborhood, decently priced housing with access to alot of authentic and delicious food. Schools are lacking, we drive our son 10 minutes to a public school alittle farther away."
  • Melissa D. L. R.
"People donโ€™t really pick up their dog poop. People let their dog poop right on my property every day and I donโ€™t know if they think itโ€™s okay to leave it there, but it isnโ€™t. "
  • Melissa
"Itโ€™s a changing neighborhood depending on where you live. My block is very nice but parking is terrible "
  • Tracyferry35
"I moved to this neighborhood from port Richmond. this neighborhood makes my family feel safer. there are tons of spots to eat and a park right across the street. my kids school is a block away."
  • lindseycocolove
