"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for one year. Neighborhood is pretty cool and safe with the occasional transient activity by the railroad tracks. Houses are small and charming. "
  • Joy
"I’ve lived here for six years. It’s a wonderful neighborhood. Safe and clean. Nice neighbors. Friendly people. "
  • angelina9202
"Great place to raise a family. There are walking trails, and a beautiful downtown area to enjoy the daytime and night "
  • Albert Yuen
"There is a lot of open spaces here and also lots of other dogs and dog owners. Apartments can be a bit on the small side for keeping an animal. Dogs that bark often here will probably result in some sort of complaint being filed. "
  • Estela Bejarano
"I have not seen any community events in the area. We usually travel for community events to whatever location are being held. "
  • Trulia User
"A surprisingly quiet neighborhood , a mix of families , single professionals, and students. mostly rentals owned by Sanford so some properties are not as maintained as others. "
  • Trulia User
"Neigubors are friendly. Yards are well kept. Dog walkers are mindful to keep dogs on the sidewalk vs your yard when walking and if they happen to go on your yard and poop they always pick up after them selves. Good schools. Low crime. Neighborhood kids are behaved. And for the most part neighbor hood is quiet. The occasional BBQ’s here and there but normally you get a plate of food out of it and usually an invite. And most importantly in my opinion no speeders on the street. Best neighborhood to relax and or raise a family. "
  • Trulia User
"Nothing really right now there’s great people but it needs more for the people who live here , definitely needs a shopping market "
  • Trulia User
"Easy walk to terrace and Veterans park with dogs. Many neighbors walk their dogos around here and dogs enjoy all the ducks at terrace park, also love dipping their paws at Covell lake"
  • Trulia User
"close neighbors and great schools. can walk to all the best attractions in sioux falls. I can get anywhere within 20 minutes by driving, lyft or bus. "
  • Arrowscoutmegginson
"If you want a quiet rich neighborhood with deer pheasant and duck in your back yard on a bit over an acre this is for you. No sidewalks. We had triplet deer fawns born in our back yard this year. A big buck comes through every now and then. Pheasants doing mating dances. He will crow sometimes. Hawks hunt rabbits and eat them on your mailbox. And 9 ducklings hatched on the back patio. "
  • Myslimjim13
"My neighborhood has great access too main streets and and the interstate. Commuting is fairly easy even during rush hour."
  • Toadgoddess
"Lots of dog owners and walkers who follow the leash laws out of respect for the non dog owners. Most pick up after their pets. My family has lived in the neighborhood for 4 generations and there is a small bungalow with a large corner yard on this particular block that seems to get used as a dog area, but we don’t have a sign that says stay off the grass. The campus is a nice area to walk and a few near by parks, as well as a couple dog parks in town."
  • Gwen.biersbach
"Close to shopping, bike trails and parks plus only 10 minutes from downtown. Secluded neighborhood near 3 golf courses. Neighbors look after each other. "
  • Amymhenning85
"Nice and quiet. Easy access to the grocery stores and bike trails. Biking made easy for commute. Fourth of July is awesome in the neighborhood "

"Free public concerts, Hot Harley Nights, many sporting events and big name concerts. Many family friendly restaurants and places that offer unique shopping experiences. "
  • Daren G.
"I love the hospitality of my neighbors and the quietness of everything. Sure, Sioux Falls has crime but I’ve noticed it to be at a minimum. "

  • Bobetteg
"Great community for families. Wonderful health care providers and hospitals. Beautiful parks and many artistic opportunities. Sporting events abound and excellent shopping."
  • Richard W.
"This neighborhood has mostly older couples or families in it. SF doesn’t really get into “holidays “ like other places I’ve lived. But it’s nice for the most part. It has its bad parts, bad people like any where, but for the most part it’s nice here. Except in the wintertime, unless you like snow, ice and low low temperatures "
  • Heather D.
"I live on the east side, there is just higher crime over here and it's close to downtown so constant sirens. "
