"Interesting residential and commercial blend in neighborhood. Near highways, so easy travel. Multiple bus lines to get all over city. Grocery stores and restaurants are kind of walkable (~30 min), but a car would be better. Mabel Davis Park is beautiful."
  • Trulia User
"Smaller yards, Parker lane and oltorf are busy streets and people speed often. A lot of other dogs, often off leash, tend to roam the surrounding neighborhoods. However, Mabel Davis park right now the street is a beautiful trail and close to Roy Guerrero, and entrances to green belt"
  • Taylor S.
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for a few months. It’s pretty quiet, the people are friendly but keep to themselves mainly. There is a nice park nearby."
  • Maddie p
"It’s pretty quiet and there are a lot of food spots. There’s a park near by that’s very well maintained that I love. "
  • Jordanmlarue
"It's not a bad area, but it certainly has some rough spots. Lots of sirens, and it's a bit busy. But it's a good location in comparison to downtown and has a lot of different businesses within a mile. "
  • Kristina
"there are no community events in this neighborhood but there is a trail near by that is nice to go to with your dogs."
  • Charles O.

"Any and all of the community events make the neighborhoods special. They bring so many people, younger and older, together. Many different nationalities amass to celebrate each other’s lives and the many diverse cultures and beliefs. "
  • Hollyp101010
"I’ve let bed in this neighborhood for three and a half years and I love it. It’s close to 35, Mopac, 290 and one exit from downtown. My neighbors are wonderful and everyone looks out for each other and are all very friendly good folks. I love the area."
  • Iovanka J. M.
"Great access to bus routes and the location is perfect. Easy short commute to zilker. Relatively close to everything, riverside, Lamar, downtown. Slaughter, barton creek mall. "
  • Krista B.
"Super close to downtown while still being affordable. So many houses being flipped and a really nice and large selection of apartments. I would recommend living here! "
  • Josie U.
"Well established neighborhood so close to downtown you can be there in 5-8 minutes. Great greenbelt and skate park."
  • Alf214
"This area is quickly changing. Antones and Emo's have now moved over to East Riverside. I think this area will be the new music and entertainment area for Austinites who want to be away from tourists and conventioneers. "
