"It is close to Branson but has a small town feel. It is the best of both worlds for this reason and I enjoy being here."
  • Athaleyah I.
"There are no sidewalks where I'm located and it is right off of 160 so pet owners need to keep their pets indoors or on leashes to ensure they don't get hit by cars. There is a park nearby that has trails to walk a dog along but it's currently flooded. The water is going down though."
  • Trulia User
"Ppl don't curb their dogs... there are no sidewalks in some neighborhoods to safely walk a dog. You almost have to always walk on the roads."
  • Josh E.
"Forsyth is good! still have meth issues, but not in this neighborhood. but they're everywhere, sadly. schools and normal people are very nice. "
  • Josh E.
"nice and close to the fairgrounds and park. the turnover kinda stinks do to the amount of rentals. But still relatively safe neighborhood. "
  • cindiray2005
"Love the area. Clean and nicely kept. Close to everything, but off the beaten path."
  • Linda P.
"This area is close to many fun 0pportunities or nice for a quiet lifestyle."
  • Ian S. W.
"We live in this neighborhood and it is very clean, quiet, and safe. We often forget to lock the doors even, as most of the neighbors know and watch out for each other. There are 2 lakes at the bottom of the hill literally less than 1 mile away, so if fishing is your joy this is the place and the water is sparkling clean! Our town was also voted "best tasting water" in the state so forget bottled water here! Everyone around is super friendly, chatty, and helpful . . . even down to the local car repair shop! They often try and resolve any problems with our vehicles w/o having to resort to drastic and expensive fixes. We appreciate the honesty - go to Carl's Auto and talk to Debbie; they're the BEST. As far as the local children go, they are the MOST polite, sweet children I've ever seen, and I've traveled & seen a lot of rude monsters that people call children. If you wanted to move away from someplace a bit rough and put your kids in a clean, friendly environment I'd totally suggest this area. Retirees there are plenty of great hospitals and clinics nearby AND super cancer & elderly care specialists around. The weather is often mild and there are 2 awesome, newer airports very close by offering excellent value AND Southwest Airlines going in & out of Branson only 25 minutes ride from here. You can live here and visit your 'peeps' back home quite easily!"
