6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is ridiculous.... their motto is kindness rules. Which is so not true. I have a student at this horrible school and the child has been bullied since September it is now the end of.March and nothing has changed. The staff is just there for a paycheck and nothing else.... I highly recommend not to.send any child to this school. Besides the bullying the homework and testing is out of control. All its for is the teacher evaluations. As a parent I beg you not.to go through what I have been through... find a different and better school....Parent Review9y ago - Pojoaque High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI agree about Pojoaque not wanting to deal with the special needs children. My son was enrolled out of district last year and he started school made friends and was going to the before and after program, when the principal called me up and told me that they were kicking my son out of school because he had and IEP. I told them that he was special education and I even listed the subjects that he had been getting the help on. Well just because I did not fill out that he had a IEP they said that they could not help my son and that they did not have the staff. So let me ask you this, how is it that they had the staff to take care of a child in special education but because he had an IEP all of the sudden they did not want to take him. I took him there because I heard Pojoaque was a good school, to tell you the truth after that I have paid attention to the reviews and I am not surprised. Good luck to all those that have children that needs special help. I hope they give them a chance. They are just as a special as anyone else.Parent Review10y ago - Pojoaque Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTo put it simply this school is a mess. it's currently falling apart and the staff don't get payed enough to deal with these kids saying racist slurs every 5 sentences. bullying is a major problem at this school especially for kinds who are neurodivergent and nothing is done about it really and it doesn't stop really you just have to ignore it and try not to have a mental breakdown Infront of 25 other kids. some of the teachers are nice and are actively trying there best and actually understand how children work but others just hate kids and shouldn't be teaching. and there is no proper sex Ed from personal experiences. and the water from the water fountains tastes like pool water minis the pee.Student Review1y ago - Pojoaque Intermediate School

"Lots of outdoor space but there are also wild animals so you have to keep an eye on them! There are nearby trails, parks and lots of dog owners. Most houses have yards. Coyotes are a bit of a problem and you don’t want to let your dog out at night without keeping an eye on them. "
