7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood, this school district has a lot of different classes for the students to take. This exposes the students to a wide variety of experiences. I have not seen this in another school district in NJ as of yet.Parent Review5y ago - Orange Ave School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe social climate at the school is abysmal. The VP and CST's are awful and do not work to provide a safe environment for kids. They are more concerned about their HIB status and not documenting them. Then they are about the well being of a child. If your an athlete, you are in. Favorites are picked and the school does not help those who need assistance. They do not care about the Special Education students nor do they care about diversity. It is a horrible environment where being kind is just a statement they all mutter under their breathes. I would not recommend this school, ever!Parent Review1y ago - Brookside Place Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePhenomenal leadership, instructional, and support staff on location. Parents are constantly kept informed, some might even say too much, Ha! ** Caution** The local Board of Education, rather than keep the very effective, top in the state "status quo" is implementing a "Re-imagine" strategy which is negatively affecting the higher grades.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 25 Nomahegan Ct.

"Has many families in the area. There are neighborhood parties at the end of the summer. People get out and walk or run. Lots of families with kids from all ages, but you'll also find people who are just a couple and their kid is their dog! It's a great neighborhood to live in cause its walk-able to nyc transportation being bus or train. Lots of new shops that has come into town in the past couple of years that give a nice flavor to dinning. Or if you want you can quickly get to other towns from here! I don't do much of the nightlife so I really can't rate that good or bad. That's something you'll have to check out for yourself. :)"
