NO BROKERS - NO FEES. IF YOU'RE A BROKER I WON'T RESPOND

...ESCAPE the density of NYC and come to the quiet...

Really beautiful 3 bdrm with a living room PLUS a dining room available May 1ST!

$3400 per month
(electrical and gas utilities not included. Heat & wifi included)

It's hard to really pinpoint this neighborhood - it's sort of between Windsor Terrace, Kensington and Ditmas Park. But for no matter, for the past 16 years it's been heaven for us, let it be heaven for you too!

It's a big floor thru, 1000 sq. ft. 3 bedroom plus living room and separate dining/office space with bay windows on both sides. Throughout the day it gets direct sunlight. There are gorgeous hardwood floors in the living and dining room. Original wood detail beams in the ceiling. The bathroom and kitchen were fully renovated recently, and we have good taste (really, we do!) The large kitchen has beautiful cherry cabinets, new stainless steel appliances, and plenty of countertop space with a large island that has even more cabinet storage underneath. Also, a fancy Bosch washer and dryer combo. Bathroom is totally zen. Skylight, tasteful greenish tinted walls with IKEA furniture that doesn't scream IKEA. Lots of closet space.

PAINT NOTE: The walls have all been repainted white and once we can we will get updated photos up.

Check out the layout/floorplan to see if it works for you!

We offer tenants carte blanche to the front yard to make what you will with it. There are plants there now, but it could really become a little haven for someone with a green thumb. You could put a little table there, an umbrella and just own it.

If you're interested we can send you a link with a video tour.

We're a block away from the historic neighborhood of Ditmas Park with its amazing Victorian mansions. We are around the corner from restaurants and cafes which for the most part are still open for delivery, takeout and outdoor seating (Lark, Wheated, AM Thai, Der Pioneer, Werkstatt, Hinterlands Bar etc ) We're a 10-minute walk from Cortelyou Rd where there are more cafes, restaurants and bars (Lea, Sycamore, Castello Plan, The Garden, Mimi's Hummus, Purple Yam...etc etc), 3 health food stores, lots of grocery options, wine stores...all that. We are a 10-minute walk going the other direction to Windsor Terrace where there's more: The adorable neighborhood Food Coop, Hamilton's, Brancaccio's, Juice Box wine store and a perfect neighborhood bar - called Shenanigan's. Yes, Shenanigan's and where they host a queer Karaoke night on Mondays. At least they did before Covid hit.

We live in a limestone house on tree-lined block, right next to the Parade Grounds (part of Prospect Park.) It's incredibly quiet here.

We're between the Q/B train and the F/G, but each is about an 8-10 minute walk. We also have buses, B35, B68, B103, and an express bus nearby that takes you to Manhattan in 20 minutes during rush hours. Citibike is around the corner.

We lived in this house for 16 years and only recently moved out but stayed in the neighborhood because we can't imagine living anywhere else. The house has 3 units and the other tenants are wonderful folks - they are all part of the loving community on the block, often internally referred to as the "real Sesame Street." We're artsy types who actually respond promptly if something needs fixing. Which of course it never will...because in this magical house, nothing ever breaks. Just kidding.

Sorry...no pets. :(

But mainly in the heart of booming Brooklyn this is a neighborhood quiet night and day with huge elegant homes. 26 years - here our daughters grew up."
