Description

This is a tremendous opportunity to live in one of Berwick's coveted neighborhoods within walking distance (sidewalks the entire way) to the new downtown! Not only are you close to The Edge, you also have trails right out your backdoor that lead to a skating pond, walking trail and library! There is a public canoe and kayak launch, baseball fields and playgrounds all within 1.5 miles! This home is located on a corner lot with privacy fencing. Enter the front door to find the living room to your left. Follow that around to the dining area and custom kitchen. You will love the large kitchen island and quartz countertops. The kitchen was very tastefully updated and has a double oven range and wonderful updated lighting as well. The bamboo flooring is found throughout the entire first floor living area except the full bathroom on this level, which has tile and also houses the laundry. There is a second sitting room that could be used as a formal dining room, office, or playroom on the first floor. It also has potential to be a first floor bedroom- with the full bathroom right next to it, it's an ideal option for those who want one floor living potential. Upstairs is a large Master Suite with ensuite bath and walk in closet. There are 2 additional bedrooms and another full bath on this level. The daylight, walkout basement is large, dry, and could also be finished for more space. The backyard has a deck that comes off of the kitchen area and a firepit. Lovingly maintained and upgraded, this home is a gem! Open House Saturday, 3/5/2022 from 11-1

"Nice to walk dogs lots of children and friendly neighbors. Lived here for 3 years"
  • Katie L.
"It's a nice loop so walking your dog on a quiet road is nice and easy to do. it is hard though because the front yards of people's homes are the green space available which means your dog will likely pee on some else's yard or plants on the walk. "
  • Brian R.
"My town is great by offering family atmosphere and beautiful landscape with nice houses, great schools and a recreation department that will make your children feel at ease and safe."
  • Voxdcm
"Strawberry festival day, concert in the park series ,playgrounds recreational sports and activities.."
  • Jaymacres
"where I live is a very busy street and the cars go way to fast. I know a woman who was killed on my street walking her dog. there are so many places to go to walk your dog but the convenience of stepping right outside and going isnt always the safest option."
  • Erin B.
"It is a very nice, community oriented downtown setting, without any dangers of a typical downtown area. There are a lot of rents filled with friendly neighbors."
  • Lauren V.
"If you are looking for a private life, quiet, wooded area with lots of land for animals or hunting or snowmobiling. This is it! "
  • dave_palmer5
"I've lived in Berwick for 28 yrs and know this neighborhood which is in my opinion still one of the nicest, well kept rural neighborhoods in Berwick. You feel like your deep in the country, well away from the City traffic and problems, yet your only 10-15 minutes away from any type of shopping needs you have and just 17 miles to Portsmouth, NH. You can be at the York, Wells or Ogunquit beaches in under 30 minutes. If your thing is the Mountains, your just 45 minutes to just over an hour to the White Mountains of NH. You are 45 minutes to Portland Maine, just over an hour to Boston Mass and just minutes to some of the finest dining anywhere. The town of Berwick has one of the Oldest Summer Theaters in the Country, the Hackmatack Playhouse....! The school system is second to none, the town services are excellent, the crime rate is almost non existent when it comes to home invasions or personal attacks. I know this neighborhood has many kids and safe areas to play. I have been in this particular home and would be my first choice to raise a family if I had one. The house is absolutely incredible, the owner very knowledgeable about the home and I learned it was designed to be built in 3 phases, the first built in 1986, 2nd 1995 and the 3rd has yet to be completed. What strikes me as incredible is you could NOT buy a piece of property in a neighborhood like this and build a home like this for the price they are asking.......!!"
