N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis could be and at one time was a wonderful school. The teachers are very good but their hands are tied by over regulation &demands dictated by the new common core curriculum. The principle has turned a blind eye to the individual needs of each child in favor of a "collective" mentality. My child has been struggling with the curriculum and her grades and declining enthusiasm for school has been ignored and pushed aside. The principal tried to tell us that testing wasn't needed and that our child would be fine. Meanwhile by NYS standards testing was required because of the IEP. I found that this reflected poorly on the principal, which was the driving motivator. We have multiple kids in this district and it has been an uphill battle ever since core curriculum was pushed onto our kids. This school district is trying to compete on the scale of cold spring harbor or three village. In one year they made the executive decision to accelerate all children to advanced honors level. So for the kids that are at that level you will be fine as long as you steer clear of the class warfare and the drug problem in the high school. "Manorville is a great area to raise a family, with a wonderful school system that graduates the students to attend some of the finest colleges in the country. We are 10 minutes from the Beaches of WESTHAMPTON and 28 minutes to the wine country, it’s a great are with large homes and sprawling yards. All people are made to feel welcome ."

"Commute is congested during rush hour but that’s to be expected on Long Island in general. Manorville is a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Its close to Corey Beach and Park, libraries and the game farm. It’s a great place to raise a family and also to retire. There are many 55+ communities in the area."
