"I have a 30-40 ride to work in Jeffersonville. Must allow extra time traveling I-64 due to lane restrictions and constant construction. "
  • Jessalyn R.
"None? I work too much to be involved in community events. I think there’s stuff that happens downtown on the square in the summer."
  • Candicceeastridge
"I have lived in Corydon for over 30 years. Good community, safe, friendly. Wholesome, good school system with good teachers. "
  • mariebbrennan
"Chestnut street in Corydon Indiana is a great place to live. You are within walking distance of the historical downtown area. The neighborhood is friendly and the people are down to earth and they look out for each other. There is a lot of traffic on Chestnut St. so that's why there are only fours for safety and pet friendly. You need to keep an eye on children and pets but lots of children and pets live on Chestnut st. The speed limit is 20 mph in town and 30mph a little further out. The houses on Chestnut St are generally built in the 1800s or early 1900s. The homes are interesting and lovely. People generally keep their yards up, but it isn't a snobby neighborhood. It is generally fun to live here, and there are lots of historical and educational activities available."

"This neighborhood is quiet, surrounded by fields. It's an ideal neighborhood for people looking for quiet and country. However, the main shopping areas of Corydon are only a few miles away. Access to I-64 is easy. "

"Downtown Corydon is a great place to live. It has several historical tourist attractions right down town, because Corydon used to be Indiana's first state capital. The people are friendly and helpful. There are interesting natural limestone caves, with lovely formations, in Corydon itself, and in the surrounding county. There are community activities year round, for children and adults to enjoy."
