"Close nit when people are in need the community pulls together to lend a helping hand to get them through whatever order they are going through."
  • Omwal.33
"Small town and family oriented. Everyone is friendly and down to earth. You can really tell there is a true sense of community here."
  • Swood2143
"The most common thing known in this town is “old home days” where the Newfield school hosts a night of food, fireworks, and even has a mini fair set up for the kids. Usually this lasts 3 days. "
  • Tizafact
"Great place to reside for seniors over 55. Office personnel were not super friendly as we expected, however, I feel , perhaps, they were worried about my son and I being loud. Though we are in fact night owls....we don’t have parties and are very quiet. Have had no problems with the other tenets . Enjoy them all as well as different personalities. 👍🏻😊🙏"
  • Hissybabs
"It’s an easy commute, 10 minutes to downtown and just 10 minutes up route 13. Roads are well maintained in the winter. No problems at all."
  • marjoriemoser3
"I need to drive a car if I want to go anywhere safely. I drive approximately 15-20 to get to work on a major highway."
  • Bobh3158h
"Close too the city yet private and country. Always feel safe and love the lack of regulations as they affect our daily life."
  • Mel E.
"I went to Ithaca College and love the area! Summer or winter it’s always beautiful here! There’s always something to do, festivals, concerts at IC, Cornell or Binghamton or the waterfalls with trails. As they say up here “Ithaca is gorges!”"
