About this House
This house is clean and in great shape. Updated with hardwood floors. Safe area. Secure off street parking and security system installed. Centrally located near Tompkins and Rumba Cafe and Evolved in the hip "SoHud" district. Close enough to campus but yet far enough away. Some students, mostly families or young adults. WALKABLE NEIGHBORHOOD. On the bus line for the East Residential OSU bus that takes you into the core of the academic center of Ohio State. That bus runs about every 15 minutes and I think and is free. This house is also on the BIKE PATH that takes you to campus and downtown.
This house feels like a suburban house in the city. This house is the best of both worlds because it has the access to the city and the university but also it is rather quiet and detached. The reason is because of the key feature, the garage.
The garage is private, and secure. Drive into the garage via the alley behind the house. Automatic garage door opener. Then, through a door into the backyard. Walk on a short path and enter the house through the backdoor where its quiet and detached.
However, if you chose to experience the life in the neighborhood, you can go out the front door. There's a front porch for sitting and people watching and hanging out. There's a coffee shop, a record store, a music venue, a bike path, and a 2 parks nearby (Glenn Echo Ravine) and (Maynard Park) that are good for kids and dogs.
Another benefit is I'm the landlord and I live nearby. I have tools and am quite handy and available. I care about the property and like to keep it function and nice. There's 3 bedrooms and a living room and a rather large open kitchen / dining room.
This house is not furnished. The basement is dry (for storage) and has a washer/dryer.
I'm open to talking about a longer lease. The last tenants stayed for 2 years.
I'm ideally looking for 1,2, or 3 tennants
The center bedroom is the smaller than the others. It could be used as a kids room, or adult room, or office. But it has the biggest closet. The photos at the end of the reel are of the center bedroom (now painted a more adult blue and set up for an adult)
I would like at least a year lease but am open to longer leases too.
Tennants pay utilities (water, gas, electric)
Tennants have access to 2 car garage
I do landscaping and mow grass
As the landlord, I keep repair, wood, tools, and landscaping supplies in the garage and would need to retain access to those things during the lease
3 people max
Everyone is jointly responsible for the rent.
No pets. Maybe a cat is ok.
