This home is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood with excellent local schools.

Your new home has two large bedrooms, the primary bedroom (with en suite bathroom) is 13' x 14' plus it has two closets and an additional changing/entry area that makes the room feel big. The second bedroom is 13' x 13'. There is also a large 17' x 15' living room, a dining room, and an open kitchen with an island, dishwasher, and gas range/oven. There is a bathroom in the primary bedroom and a second full bathroom, just outside the second bedroom, both were renovated in 2025 and are brand new. Off the kitchen/dining room, there are south-facing french doors that open to a spacious back yard, with a large brick patio and a grass area. Highlights of the outdoor space include a large 70-year-old avocado tree with professionally built 105 sq ft treehouse and two 4'x8' raised garden beds with automatic irrigation. There is also an 8'x10' shed for storage of hobby items.

Other features of this home include a detached one-car garage with space to park one additional car on the driveway. This location is PERFECT. Walk to Grandview Beach in 10 minutes. Walk to the iconic Fish 101, Leucadia Donuts, or Bar Leucadian on 101 in 5 minutes. You are also just 2 blocks from the Leucadia Oaks Park including a mini skate park, basketball courts, and a sand volleyball court. Two miles south is the Encinitas Coaster Rail Station and near there is the Encinitas Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA and Moonlight Beach, arguably the best beach in North County San Diego. Two miles east is the full par 72 Encinitas Ranch Golf Course. You save ~$30 on green fees as an Encinitas resident. There is also easy access to the I-5 freeway and Hwy 101, the pacific coast highway (PCH).

All within 3 miles (easy biking distance) north and south on 101 you will find countless restaurants including some fantastic local burrito/taco shops and excellent sit-down Mexican restaurants plus Thai, Italian, Chinese, sushi, local pizza, and several little to medium size cafes featuring their own mix of cuisines. Needless to say, Encinitas has no shortage of great food. This is not to mention that you are just a few miles south of Carlsbad with food and culture to fill any gap that Encinitas doesn't cover.

    "The neighborhood is a mix of retired people and new families. It’s not as communal as other cities I’ve lived in with many people driving in and out of the community and then staying inside or in their backyard. The gates parks prohibit kids meeting there unless they belong to an association. It’s odd to see a gated park that children cannot play on , meet new kids that live across the street, etc. I’m used to larger cities where there are more public places to gather, meet your neighbors, and create a stronger community."
