They share an adjacent full bathroom with a tub-shower, and want to share the house with a new tenant, preferably of the same gender. AVAILABLE NOW or near future, month-to-month tenancy or lease.
The house is less than a block to Willard Park, close to restaurants and shops on College and Telegraph Avenues, about half mile south of UC, a 10 to 15-minute walk. Although my partner and I used to occupy a bedroom suite on the first floor for one or two weeks per month, we now spend almost all of the time at our vacation home in west Marin.
The available second-story, unfurnished bedroom faces south with lots of light, and has exclusive access to a large deck. We are looking for a healthy, emotionally balanced person who is respectful of others. Sorry, no pets, loud party people, or tobacco smokers.
On the first floor there is a laundry room with a newer washer and dryer. The kitchen has been remodeled with granite countertops, and it has a gas range-oven, dishwasher, microwave, air-fryer, and a new energy-efficient refrigerator-freezer. The kitchen has cooking equipment, utensils, dishes, glasses and mugs. The hardwood flooring is oak. The dining area has a table that seats six, and leads to a shared deck via French doors.
There is fast fiber-optic Internet, and central heat is from a new efficient gas furnace. Utilities are shared pro rata, except owner pays for all trash pick-up and recycling, as well as a portion of all other utilities. We have a secured yard for bike storage. Although there is a wood-burning fireplace, it is rarely used in consideration of reducing pollution. Possible off-street parking is negotiable.
