Description

This is a beautiful 1948 adobe "territorial" style home. The exterior walls are 12" thick and that means that this unique home is cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Pine wood ceilings in the living room and bedrooms lend warmth and rustic beauty. It features a mantel that runs across the northern wall of the living room. Early in 2016, we remodeled the bathroom to make it wheelchair accessible. We removed the old cast-iron tub, installed a new wall-hung sink and a new high-rise toilet. Even though it's a small bathroom area, it feels surprisingly spacious.

We have a beautiful neighborhood with families who have been there for years. Note: We installed a new A.C. unit in June 2018.

Southwest Human Development makes its home here supporting early childhood for much of Maricopa County. There’s no shortage of businesses around here. This area borders the more well to do Arcadia and Biltmore neighborhoods as well as the more decidedly homeless and drugee scene that runs South of Thomas Rd. It’s a typical Phoenix neighborhood otherwise."

    "Dogs are everywhere and most people are good dog owners. Every once in a while, someone will have their dog off leash that is not well-trained enough. But it’s rare. Also, at times there are coyotes about. Most of the time they run. Away from people, but I imagine owners with small dogs might feel a bit nervous to see one. "
