About this House

Perfect home in an absolutely ideal EAST LAYTON location...especially for a family with children. A MUST SEE! Will Be available (date here is rented)
House: Incredible remodeled spacious rambler has 2 car garage, 4 bedrooms (2 w/walk-in closets) + additional room/office, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 family rooms, full kitchen, laundry room, lots of storage throughout, cold storage pantry (freezer included), and a fireplace...with a total of 2892 sq ft of living space, 1450 of which is in the bright, completed, finished basement. Gorgeous kitchen has maple cabinets with LOTS of storage space, granite counters, and tile floors. Spacious master suite w/unbelievable walk-in closet. Carpeting (very nice) throughout the house. The open plan and windows throughout keep the house well-lit + the living room has a bay window with a complete view of the mountains. Basement is beautifully finished with full carpeting, nice walls and finish, textured ceiling, large built-in bookshelf, and many large windows to keep it bright. Family room in the basement has a nice fireplace (natural gas - just flip the switch) and a large entertainment center that includes nice cabinetry.
Outside: The outside includes a front porch with a bench for a view of the mountains, a over-sized driveway with RV/boat parking along the side of the house, a large fully-fenced back yard with full grown trees along the back fence, two young apple trees (3 years old) that should produce in 2 years, very productive grape vines along the side fence, a garden area, and a large fully-shelved shed and enclosed kennel for lots of additional storage. Entire lawn has automatic sprinkler system hooked to the secondary water system (no cost for watering lawn!). Behind the house is a colored/stamped concrete patio and a grill that is hooked to the natural gas line (no changing bottles!). Lot is a spacious 1/4 acre...and backyard looks even bigger...extremely large and open since it borders a wonderful field in a park area. Literally walk out the gate (lockable) of your backyard and enter the park. Park also includes a soccer field, 2 baseball fields, 2 tennis courts, and 3 playgrounds. If you have children in elementary school, you can watch them walk to school right from the house (1 minute walk!). It's really great...all the amenities just outside your gate but without the maintenance or extra costs!
Location: Perfect location in a quiet, sought after Layton neighborhood with quick access to I-15, Rt 89 and Antelope Dr (main drag)...Quick drive to everything in Layton, Ogden, Kaysville, SLC, 10 minutes to state's largest amusement park and 22 minutes from world class ski resorts. Only an 8 minute drive to/from the Hill AFB south gate, without fighting traffic either way (5 miles total), and with the sun at your back!
Neighborhood Description
Nice, helpful middle class community, patriotic, and homes kept up very well....

What I love with this home:

Nice neighbors in quiet neighborhood yet great location to get anywhere fast without fighting traffic...very nice house to live in with great views both in front and back (and no house directly in front or behind nor any power lines)...and can watch our children walk to school (1 min) right from the house!...had to move (military)...will absolutely miss these features!

"Neighbors and families are extremely supportive and kind to one another. This city and neighbor are amazing, and our family is so grateful to live here. Layton is very safe and it has a lot of good shops, restaurants, business, and churches. "
  • Hcconnolly18
"There are a lot of fenced yards, both front and back. Many of the homes are dog friendly with nearby dog parks. However, there are also a lot of owners that let their dogs run leash free on their walks that do not have good recall. There are also a lot of dogs that jump fences when theyโ€™re larger breeds and the fences are not high enough for them and can cause territorial issues. My smaller dog has been attacked several times in her own yard. "
  • Felicia V Ewing
"The neighborhood is very dog friendly with many trails throughout the homes. Most neighbors either walk, jog or walk their dogs daily."
  • Felicia V Ewing
"The area is very kid friendly. Mostly a family neighborhood.lots of trails to walk your dogs, green belts and parks."

  • Alaysha Aamodt

  • Mckinzie.tureson
"Lots of people own dogs here. Big parks, sidewalks, large yards, and multiple pet stores make this a good place for dogs. Large or small, they will be comfy here. "
  • Wendi W.
"Nothing at all makes my neighborhood unique. It is pretty normal. People usually keep to themselves. "
  • Wolfboy1245
"plenty of dogs. Pro and con either plenty of puppy friends or loud nights. It can go either way. My experience has been mostly good "

"I havenโ€™t lived here all that long but I havenโ€™t really heard of many neighborhood special events. Hopefully I will have more information in the spring and summer, looking forward to it! "

"I live in this neighborhood for 12 years. But now itโ€™s getting too congested with townhomes and condos."
  • Ocean.lw5
"people help one another. I had a huge blue spruce fall during a wind storm. The neighbors cleared it away with out being asked to do so. I have never had help like that before. "
  • Jason D
"I live within 5 miles of work, but the traffic going to my place of work can cause great delays. Traffic can get very congested around my place of work in the morning and again in the afternoon through early evening. "
  • Djdominguez7
"Folk are very friendly and have been around a long time everyone looks out for each other...hard to find a neighborhood like this now a days."
  • Nikki.gianni
"Love Layton bear everything, very convienient. Lose to both my sons HS and jhs and shopping. Restaurants"
  • Mojonica
"I would guess about 1/2 of the people here have dogs. Theyโ€™re all very friendly. We have an HOA that requires they be on a leash and owners must clean up all dog poop. Everyone seems to follow the rules very well. I donโ€™t personally have a dog but I donโ€™t mind any of the dogs being outside. I can never hear dogs barking from inside my house, I can only hear a dog if Iโ€™m outside at the same time as the dog or have windows opened. "
  • Joythigpen
"That main street is a very busy road, no kids should be near it unsupervised. Layton is very clean town, with many parks and an aquarium in the mall. There are many choices for food and entertainment here. From Cherry Hills water park to Glitter Town Cinemas. "
  • Joythigpen
"music in the park. movies in the park lots of out door spaces. hiking biking trails snow skiing snow shoeing ice skating christmas lights "

"Nothing,itโ€™s very dog friendly. Good sidewalks, other dog owners in the area, park just around the corner."
