About this House

Tucked away on 1.8 acres on Nelson Rd. this 1700 square foot ranch has been completely remodeled. In 2008 a new Buderus boiler was installed and the lawn was doubled; a sprinkler system was installed In 2009 new tile, carpet and bamboo for entire home; crown molding and all trim is new, new paint; new, triple-pane, windows with screens throughout, new open layout means it heats efficiently and is perfect for hosting gatherings; two pairs of glass, French doors between rooms allow for privacy. An addition was built using insulated concrete forms to provide an entertainment room and luxurious master suite which includes 13x7 walk-in closet, walk-in shower with jetted tub, and huge windows, the addition has vaulted ceilings. complete remodel of the kitchen includes solid countertop with under mount sink and a restaurant-style pot filler over the stove as well as quiet close drawers. A tile backsplash and faux copper ceiling are excellent finishing touches; new appliances; new R-17 garage door and 2 inches of foam on the front of the house helped it achieve a 4+ star energy rating. We installed new exterior doors, new vinyl siding with stacked stone accent, and a new layer of asphalt shingles were added to the roof. Baseboard heating was removed from most rooms and low profile unit heaters were integrated in five locations. HRV unit was replaced with latest model and added to the addition. 2010 New septic tank and leech field were installed. 2014: A new D-1 driveway was completed and six giant planter boxes were installed in the renovated garden and a .4 mile hiking trail was cut around the perimeter of property and fire pit was created. Woodshed was refurbished and the huge deck sanded and stained.
