"I've lived in this area for almost 5 years and I like it, I haven't had any problems, I like the place "
  • Trulia User
"My neighborhood has great access to grocery stores and a couple of minutes from downtown Sacramento! Friendly neighborhood"
  • Ebsjyza6vr
"I live in a small new housing development. Every place around is run down with garbage in the streets. Lots of criminal activity. Prostitution and drug dealing at the childrenโ€™s park. Frequent police helicopter fly-overs reporting missing children or a suspected criminal in the area. Lots of homeless people who go through your garbage. "
  • Asha K.
"Neighborhood sucks. Blighted and poorly maintained. Only good thing is itโ€™s cheap. I will be moving soon."
  • Asha K.
"Needs serious help. Great location but crime ridden. I look forward to leaving. City councilman can do SO much more"
  • Crystal L.
"Various commute options from buses to light rail are very easily accessible. My daughter uses both to get around, otherwise we use our vehicle."
  • Turcios.daniel87
"I dont see people walking their dogs that often, since is an open neighborhood you see a lot of homeless walking through , however I have walked around the neighbor and live here for the past three years and Nothing bad has happened"
  • Crystal L.
"Dog parks nearby Lots of dogs in the neighborhood Other dog owners do not pick up after their dogs "
  • Cunesha P.
"you see people walking there dogs all the time . people tend to greet you and command their dogs many dog owners are in the neighborhood "
  • Cunesha P.
"they could use more shuttle buses to and from light rail and how Molina had the shuttle service to take you to near by stores, doctors offices, government offices, etc."
  • Cinny13
"Traffic is horrible on bus 80. Morning and evening traffic on el Camino is crazy! I like the accessibility to the freeways, 80 and 5. "
  • Tankpeters15
"not good at all I really don't know nobody and is always so noisy people don't sleep I remember the times when there was peace and quiet people go to sleep at a different time but a good time"
  • Megan K.
"Old North Sacramento has a lot of character, it's not like anywhere else I have ever lived. It is a neighborhood in transition, so parts can be a bit scruffy, but I really liked my neighbors. People were real and not snobby; and there a lot of people who truly care about the neighborhood. Recently the Good Market opened off of Del Paso Blvd and there are many new art establishments, athletic gyms, and interesting restaurants including Enotria and The Green Boheme (raw/vegan dining). Del Paso Blvd also features a bunch of fun, interesting public art. From Old North Sacramento you can get to public transportation, Highway 160, Freeway I-80, the post office, hardware store, grocery store, thrift store, and library all within a few easy blocks."
  • Vjd
"I do live here. It appears to look quiet and nice, but there is crime. It is unsafe to walk in the area from twilight on. There has even been daytime muggings. Lite rail is only a couple of blocks away, but that part of Del Paso is locked up tighter than a drum by 9:00pm. With dim street lights and closed businesses it becomes very unsafe. There are drug dealers and prostitutes with an active trade in the area. It is not a good environment for children."

"Easy access to I-80, 5 and downtown. Great restaurants near by including Enotria and the Green Boheme. "
