  • Ph4tchr1s
"We don’t really have anything neighborly going on. During Halloween we have a coulple truck or treaties but nothing major "
  • Laura E.
"This community has a real “small town” feel, but it still convenient to bigger city amenities and events."
  • Jennifer R.
"I live in the Cane Bay Plantation area. It's a beautiful neighborhood, but there are a lot of aggressive, unfriendly people. There are also some really nice people. I just feel the unfriendly people are in the majority."
  • Koppvy
"An hour out from a Charleston commute due to traffic build up. Other than that the neighborhood is great."
  • Anne Fehrle
"I've been living in the area for 3 years and love it. Would like to stay in Moncks Corner if possible."
  • Ckier25
"Not sure, but I love the quiet neighborhood. Everyone is friendly. People do what they do and mind their own business. Neighborhood of Pimlico is very clean"
  • Joy B.
"we have food truck Thursdays, community garage sales and chili cook offs. Halloween is very popular, people from other areas come. we like the area even though there has not been confirmation of a grocery store ...yet "
  • Dachshound84
"We have a fenced in yard, and I think anybody with dogs must also have a fenced-in yard because I don’t see anyone walking their dog."
  • Vanessa M.
"every Halloween there is s little fair like event at the neighborhood basketball courts. couple times a year there's a community yard sale, which is a great way to interact with your neighbors. local neighborhood park for the kids."
  • bergen56
"Not great. More and more traffic every day. Need to allow extra time. Roads have not kept up with growth. "
  • cgunner1
"Simply the best neighbors I've ever had. Everyone speaks too each other. There is always kids playing outside too."
  • Katie F.
"People whine about dogs, but overall almost everyone has one and frequently walk them through the neighborhood."
  • Shanta H.
"Quiet and off the radar, close to shopping centers and highways. The location is key in getting to other places such as North Charleston, Goose Creek, etc. Direct route ro Myrtle Beach. "
  • Herbert a. L. E.
    "Nice, quiet neighborhood! "
  • Kathleen W. M.
"We have lived here for 4 years. With just around 6,000 people this is considered a small town compared to where we used to live in NY. You can make a left turn on to the main street without getting hit by another car (this is a big thing for me)!! The schools are great and our kids do very well here. There are plenty of restaurants and about 1/2 are within a 10 minute walk from the house. The library is right behind us and we use it a lot. The people are very friendly and from what I can tell EVERYONE will say hello. We chose this area because of the way lower than average crime rate. Even though my husband works almost 40 miles away, living this far from his job is definitely worth it. "
