Davis High is a great school with great teachers. My son is a senior and has had a great experience. Competition is pretty high as the town (Davis) is a small community with a very large University of California campus, and thus is filled with parents who have advanced degrees and very high academic standards. I suspect academically weaker students will feel this, but on the other hand academically talented students will have the opportunity to excel. If your child is not academically strong (or at least average) they may be best served by other alternatives in Davis (Da Vinci High), a private school, or in nearby high schools.

Harper is a terrible school. The education is bad and the staff is horrible. But the sports are good hence why I gave 1 star.

The principal is rude and condescending. Wants to teach kids that arent hers biologically about trans pride and sexuality... at an elementary school. I can say with 100% confidence that ill never send my kids here or recommend this school to anyone. The principal has displayed shameful attitude and is being blasted on social media.
