The village has a plethora of top restaurants from Del Mar Pizza to Pacifica Seafood and Jake's on the beach. It is a beach town so summertime is busy with people visiting from all around the world. The Del Mar Race Track is nearby and a short drive away are area attractions such as Seaworld, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Coronado, La Jolla, Legoland and more. "

It is at the top of a bluff overlooking the ocean, but there is no beach access due to the height of the bluff wall (~60'). The nearest beach access is several blocks away. The only traffic is local with the occasional tourist who thinks there is beach access."
