6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible School with special needs students and relentless bullying that never gets addressed. The teachers YELL at the students when they loose their patience. They have no tolerance at all for kids with ADHD or Autism. They physically transport them to a room where they just ignore them and let them scream their head off or put them in holds (parents would get DCS called on them for if we did). They constently called me to come pick my son up because in their own words "we cant handle him" if I couldn't leave work or or school to do it they would threaten to call DCS on me for negligence. Constenly bribing him with candy and treats after I told them sugar makes him act out alot then questioning my parenting when hes acting out. Calling me to ask if he has takin his medication that day due to him being hyper. They expected his medication to turn him into a zombie robot. They told me if he wasn't on medication he would not be allowed at the school anymore. His medication caused him to not want to eat, it caused even worse anger issues and all kinds of problems with him, yet I was forced to give it to him for him to go to school!! Suspending a kindergartener due to eloping 12 times in ONE YEAR!!! In his IEP meetings I felt un heard. They would tell me what my child needs and not even take into consideration what I think is best for him. Completely shut me down on ideas. But they are the ones who can't ever handle him? My other son was relentlessly bullied for one reason or another. He was assaulted by an older kid on the bus and there was nothing done about it. They LOST both of my kids at one point and ended up sending one of them home on the bus when I told them I was picking him up that day. Teachers do not communicate with the parents at all and alot gets swept under the rug. My youngest son would come home with bruises and marks and I would have to hear from him that another student physicaly assulted him but never heard one word from a teacher about it. I had to go to the teacher myself!!! I ended up taking my kids oldest out after 2 years of this school and my youngest barley lasted 1 year. Last but NOT LEAST If your from a low income family they treat you like dirt and they dont care about your kids. Both of my kids grades and behavior have 100% improved so much after I took them out of this awful school!Parent Review3w ago18 Reviews - Jackson Creek Middle School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had a school dance and Two boys name of like Luis and Jose went around and touched girls inappropriately and unzipping their dresses, 5 girls were crying, assistant principal did nothing about it, there was this great kid named like Issac who had enough and hit one of the dudes. But he got suspended for 3 days while those two had no punishment. I was dealing with boys being weird around me and they also got away with it. In addition Issac was kicked out the dance before the two?? Teachers don’t really have the best ways of teaching and the way that they teach confuses me. The lunches are pre served and you can only get one entree now, kids can’t get up for water unless table is called, which can endanger them if they don’t get the sources they need. You aren’t allowed to get extras, which left me hungry throughout the day if the food is too little on certain days. But yeah I wouldn’t recommend this school because you will have to worry constantly about if you will feel safe here or be in the right hands.Other Review7mo ago31 Reviews - Check out schools near 237 E Winslow Rd #5.

"There are a lot of college kids that live here, myself included. It’s a great investment area, rents are jacked up and high demand but it’s a terrible place to raise kids and a family"

"I’m retired, I travel a lot to nearby towns and I attend church out of town. A car is imperative. My family lives 30 minutes away there is no bus line that would be helpful to me."

"I love being a dog owner in my neighborhood mainly because my dogs plays with all the neighbor dogs. They are buddies now to the point I even dog watch and have doggie dates to get energy out! No complaints in my neighborhood about dogs because they are all either friendly but stay to themselves or they are actually involved in our daily lives where they are our pups friend. Love it a lot."

"As long as you’re living on the part that’s no where near Acadia courts then you’re good. People also run the stop sign on the Allendale Winslow entrance so you have to be super careful there, and people drive pretty fast on Allendale . If you have kids make sure you have a fence and not close to the main road "
