4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a parent of two students who have gone through Hickory High School, I am saddened to say that I am very disappointed with the education that my second child has received. It's as if some of the teachers there do not care whether the students understand the material or not. The state needs to review the data and analyze the effectiveness of teachers who have a high percentage of students failing in their classrooms. It's frustrating because it seems like students aren't getting any valuable education— they'd be better off with a school of fish! The teachers appear to be either inexperienced or struggling in their roles, which makes it hard for kids to make progress. Plus, getting assistance from the office staff is a challenge, so don't expect much help there. Overall, it's not a great environment for education.Parent Review1y ago
