"First time in Fairview definitely enjoy. It seems better maintain better order. Although CraZy is always around the corner, it’s not like you walk outside and have to deal with it."
  • 503mb.email
"On occasion we’ll see the ice cream truck comes around. But it’s been quite a while since that. But otherwise really calm quiet neighborhood "
  • Nuearthbiotect
"I drive my car and traffic can be heavy in the morning and early evening getting into the city but not too bad."
  • Darius.tosa
"I love that there are always people outside that clean the neighborhood by piking up cans and cigarette buds off the ground. some of them even camp outside your door waiting for you to give them your beer bottles (empty or full)."
  • Chris J. H.
"It’s okay but hit or miss, lots of things within a couple miles, several grocery stores, a couple hardware stores, easy interstate access and lots of gas stations/convenience stores"
  • Vidyasagar D.
"Very clean, safe neighborhood. Lived around this area for 2 1/2 years and I’m looking to buy a house around this neighborhood "
  • Ericam77
"Fairview is such a nice city town. Its got a few shopping areas, convenient grocery stores and different style of restaurants close by. Great community! The downfall is all the homeless and crime seems to be moving in down to the area. "
  • Mindy W.
"I don't talk to the neighbors much but people tend to look for suspicious Behavior with strangers in the neighborhood"
  • Monicaoaks4570
"A lot of theft in the area but otherwise a nice, friendly people around. Close to many well known shopping stores nearby such as Target, Fred Meyer, Walgreens, etc."
  • Mickeyerk
"Good freeway access. Lots of shopping around. Good bars and restaurants all over the area. Scenic hwys nearby"
  • Laura M.
" I have no idea since I don't have a dog or cat. All of the dog walkers seem to be happy more often than not. I think that a dog park would be a nice addition to neighborhood. "
  • Trulia User
"We have lots of neighbors with dogs and we have a couple of parks in our neighborhood. No dog parks."
  • Janice.rivera1
"It is close to the freeway but I would rather live closer to mid Gresham. We have some shopping and restaurants. It is just my preference. I also live in a manufactures home park so parking is limited and the rules are strict. "
  • Pritybutrfly36
"I've lived in this neighborhood and it's a great area. People are nice, shopping is close, lots of coyotes, too many trees"
  • Evelyn D.
"it is quiet here even with the train tracks close by. I do not feel like I am in the middle of the big city. "
  • Franciscoloera43
"I love my neighborhood cuz Is peaceful, safe, great for walk , and excellent for raise kids, also a have to admit that (Fairview apartments) a cross the street they got some renters that they bring shopping cars, they smoke weed and drink alcohol at the sidewalk, and they always leave the cars not well parked, and as a home owner I almost never get parking in front of my house, guess what? cuz the neighbor a cross the street they used , of course the street is public but, we as a home owner we have a rights, I believe (Fairview apartments management needs to put serious attention on this) "
  • Joyce F.
"I guess I would have to say the crime rate. However, I'm not sure how unique that really is in the Portland area any more."
  • Joyce F.
"I have lived here for 3-1/2 years. The rent is very affordable, especially in comparison to other rents in the surrounding areas."
