Unfortunately, my experience with this school’s principal Mrs Rivero has been very disappointing. On multiple occasions, she has addressed parents in a disrespectful and dismissive manner. Concerns that were raised calmly and appropriately were met with an unprofessional tone rather than empathy or collaboration.As a parent, it’s upsetting to feel talked down to or brushed aside when advocating for your child. School leadership should model respect, open communication, and partnership with families, and that has not been my experience here.I hope the administration takes parent feedback seriously and works on improving how concerns are handled and how parents are spoken to.

"Small town living in the glorious Shenandoah Valley with breathtaking panoramic mountain views. There’s a chance to see a black bear and create some poetry too. "

"you can hear the church bells chime on the hour and the train go by. There's also an old air siren the fire company uses as a fire whistle. the town is historic and nostalgic."

"Shenandoah has no access to public transportation. It’s a very small, rural town with very little to do in terms of entertainment. However, it’s quiet, clean, and a beautiful place to live. "
