10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is in his 4th year at RES and it has been a wonderful school. Every teacher is kind, caring and nurturing. The STEM emphasis is woven throughout the curriculum and kids spend regular time in the STEM lab. The building is older and then he classrooms are a little cramped but the quality teaching makes up for it. At the end of the year they display everyone’s gpa in a book at graduation and it’s discriminatory. What about students who struggle in school, not for academic reasons? They play favorites in the yearbooks as well. Putting only one picture of certain seniors in the yearbook when it’s their senior year, and many pictures of the kids they feel are “popular”. This school is known for its mean kids as well. They claim to be wanting everyone to show kindness and fairness but it’s the exact opposite. "Very safe, quiet community. Many parks, shopping, and good access to the 94 corridor. School system is reputable and consistent, with good options for elementary through high school depending on your location. Not much to complain about."
