Sports have been lacking but slowly getting back to normal but for the students that lost the opportunity the school offered nothing in exchange. Yearbook staff does not pay attention to the students running the yearbook. 2 years in a row pictures of previous years teams were posted in stead of kids who actually participated in the team so in short my Childs yearbook never shows them on a team despite playing for 2 years. Principal Golden (who's now leaving) took all many f the fun activities away from the student body. Several teachers admittedly just stopped caring post covid. "Probably one of the most affordable and calm area in the south with good to okay schools. Lived here for a year never had any issue, never heard of any violent crimes or even theft etc. This areas proximity makes it very appealing it is close to Matthews hence all the major businesses are right at 5 to 10 minutes of drive."

"This is one of the best neighborhood in Charlotte, given how quiet, calm and kind of upscale it is the house prices can range from low to very high. David Butler High school is definitely a plus point of this neighborhood and definitely a great school."
