6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is in special ed class the teacher is very helpful and nice. What I don’t like is the office staff they are so unprofessional and very rude. I get humiliated inside the office I feel like I am one of the student that they are scolding of. Please train or educate your staff. Teach them to be respectful and it should begins within the school. Again the staff are soooo TERRIBLE!Parent Review7mo ago - Carson Senior High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience was great at AEE. The teachers and faculty give the students many opportunities to advance themselves and their futures. They provide internships, loads of volunteering, dual enrollment college courses, and a lot of school spirit. There is a sense of community at this school. The teachers care about their students and can spot potential in all.Other Review3y ago - Academy Of Medical Arts At Carson High

What Locals Say about Torrance

"I have lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and seen many changes. Older homes are being torn down and replaced by two on A Lot. I don’t think there’s one house in the neighborhood that sells for less than $800,000. The area is very walkable to grocery stores, retail outlets, a lovely park, and public transportation. The neighborhood is very dog, friendly, but other than that very few neighbors know each other there are no community events "
