  • That Girl
"I like the neighood its quite everyone is friendly i would say It's safe to walk around at night.. during the holidays lotbof people decorate its fun during Halloween everyone is kind and in the spirit.."
  • Imanii godwin
"Very friendly neighborhood , dog friendly and lots of things to do in Long Beach . I will never leave Long Beach "
  • Jasmin Yanez
"It’s not safe. A lot of gang violence. I wouldn’t walk outside for fun unfortunately this is not the neighborhood for that."
  • Ursula Rivera
"It’s a safe place to call home and the neighborhood is quiet but most of all very friendly. It’s unique in plenty ways starting off with the environment"
  • Trulia User
"westside Is nice place to live and visit. shopping and metro nearby. hospital nearby. beach only 2 miles away"
  • Trulia User
"Personally I’m hesitant getting a dog living in a 1 bedroom apartment. I wonder if that’s also something that crosses other peoples minds."
  • Trulia User
"great friendly neighborhood , very quiet and clean. at night it feels safe as well during the day, very dog friendly, love!"
  • Trulia User
"Lots of cops and ambulances lots of homeless people but cheap housing and no parking no where Never "
  • Trulia User
"I drive my own car everywhere. I prefer it that way because I’ve heard a lot of sketchy stories about people messing with commuters."
  • Chrisgranneberg
"Diverse neighborhood and almost everyone says hello, it feels like a neighborhood where most people know each other. The only thing is fireworks May through July, waking kids and scaring pets and making it hard for tired parents. We like that everyone decorates for holidays."
  • Cassie W.
"This is not the best neighborhood for children. It’s often dangerous, people speed when driving down the street, blow through stop signs, etc. I would also be scared of children walking home from school alone. "
  • Nancy
"Dangerous at night, many transits. Wouldn't walk alone past 6pm many weird people walking near cars, homes, and streets"
  • Cassie W.
"Close to freeways and close to the downtown area. We don’t walk much in the neighborhood as it oftentimes feels unsafe, especially at night. Due to a lack of parking we often use ride share apps to get around town, again, especially at night. "
  • Handresga
"there are numerous dog owners. although I don't own a dog anymore I'd say that some people pick up their poop instead of living on people's porches"
  • Amanda M.
"There are many families in this neighborhood but also a lot of weirdos. Neighbors mostly like to keep to themselves, incase you are an extrovert. "
  • Denisegenae
"Pro there are a lot of dog owners in the area. Cons there isn’t enough dog parks around to let our dogs loose, not enough owners picking up after there dogs, not many housing accept dogs and high prices on pet rent and/or pet deposit. "
  • Denisegenae
"I want to move out of this area. It’s a blend to whom to blame for the area being the way it is. The property owners and people renting need to come together and clean up the communities. People living in the area clean up your messes and respect where you live. Owners should take time to take care of their buildings because not everyone in the areas deserve to live under a lot of your conditions. The sanitation department should do better at aiming for the opening where the crash goes because they leave piles of trash in the streets. I’ve had my fair share of homeless admirers strolling and hanging out in front of our gate. "
  • Thecmmndcntr
"I’m close to the beach everything is in walking distance. Donut shop grocery stores public transportation. I have access to several different freeways from my location. Neighbors are friendly dogs are nice there is a school within the neighborhood as well which is a fun future. We also have a dog park within walking distance"
  • Loren H.
"Great place for a dog as long as they’re on a leash. Most owners are respectful of others making the neighborhood better for everyone."
  • Bshank2012
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 13 years & absolutely love it!! Now we’re looking for a home with a pool "
  • Kevin K. H.
"They need to something about parking along Daisy park. Maybe 2hour parking limits so people can use the park and we Need Permit Parking So home owners can park in front of their homes"
  • Bawbee1028
"Good and safe place to walk your dog, really quiet neighborhood and really peaceful . I always see people pick up after their dog"
  • Thecmmndcntr
"Good times in the Wrigley. There is a school in the neighborhood which my daughter goes to and we often walk kids and dog"
  • Eugene O.
"It’s hard to get parking you have to choose if you want to go somewhere and come back to no parking."
  • FredJ
"I have lived here for over 7 years, great area. Kids go to the local elementary school, I could not be happier."
  • Chelsea Y. V.
"First few months and our street feels safe but not sure about immediate surrounding areas. A little bit or miss."
  • Jade C.
"Right by the 710 so it makes going to DTLA super easy! The metro is also pretty close by and there are a bunch of bus stops as well. "
  • Zach
"It needs improvements. Home owners need to upkeep their property. They need to park correctly and consistently to give room for driveways for vehicles. "
  • Abdul C.
"I've lived in this apartment in South Wrigley since this January! And I LOVE it! The apartments are a decent size, and our neighbors are friendly!"
  • Jane
"Dog friendly, nice neighborhood. A mix of classes and races. Some people don’t pick up after their dogs community is usually quiet except for 4th of July too many fireworks. A lot of drug dealing."
  • Jane
"Too many transients due to metro station do not walk alone past 6p, it is not safe terrible school district and overpriced rent."
  • Kay R.
"There’s a lot of cats and places to walk your dog. People don’t pick up their dogs poop. But it’s a great neighborhood......."
  • Shanleyberry
"it's a decent area, not a lot of crime, friendly people, easy to walk around. not sure about any of the schools"
