6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLet me start by saying that my child has attended Peabody since pre-k. The lower grades are an EXCELLENT start for any child. The teachers are what makes this school so wonderful. However, as my child progressed to older grades, the atmosphere and attitude of teacher/faculty started to dwindle. The powers ahead do not care about how the parent feels nor do they care about working with you OR your child. They will lie to your face and smile. Then turn around and do what you asked them not to or what you guys discussed would not be appropriate. Sometimes, things are NOT at all what they seem. This school would be the case here. I wrote a comment before and it got deleted. This makes me wonder how many other parents have commented and their comments were deleted. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageStudent fights in this school almost on a daily, ant infested and waiting for the principal to do something about it, the teachers could be better/teach better, some rules are very strict, and if some students do something bad then basically the whole school gets punished for it (like the repeatedly amount of times pep rallys got canceled just because some students decided to fight) so overall not happy being there. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids have pretty much been raised in this school and ALL of the faculty know our faces by name! They're like family to us and when my kids and I had to leave during a time of hardship, it was very easy to decide where my kids would return to! I'm uncomfortable with over schools but this one is very attentive and cares deeply about their kids' futures! I love Alma Redwine New Vision Academy and wish there were more schools like it!Parent Review10y ago

"This is a terrible neighborhood. Expect to have drug paraphernalia tossed into your front yard and your patio furniture stolen. This neighborhood is wonderful during the day, but in the evenings, it is dangerous. It is not uncommon to find a stranger wandering through your backyard or shed. "

"they are things to do around here you just have to look for them... Alexandria is growing, but it's growing slowly. however.... you do have to go out of town to actually find something to do. "

"this is a diverse neighborhood. Everyone gets along. No crime at all. very kid friendly. everyone looks out for everyone in this neighborhood. not too many rent homes. Most owners live in their homes."

"Carlyle Place is unique in that it is isolated from everything due to its orientation but has, literally, 60sec access to the main highways of town. We don't live in a drivethrough neighborhood. "
