5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLearning: Student learning appears to be progressing at a slower pace compared to other learning curves. However, there is a noticeable effort to support students who are slightly below average—limited perspective on students struggling significantly.Teaching: Positive feedback for three out of four teachers. They effectively communicate with parents, provide guidance, and show care for students' progress. Concerns about one teacher's approach, although I acknowledge that speculation arises as I have not been directly involved in the classroom.Social-emotional support: Teachers have supported my children but witnessed other teachers have an inadequate handling of challenging students. Often, parents' negative attitudes toward staff and children impact children adversely. Staff responses sometimes mimic parents' behavior instead of providing comfort, possibly indicating some staff perceive these students as burdens.Safety: My child experienced consistent bullying throughout schooling. Instances of physical assault and harassment were addressed by parents, not school. My child had to address issues himself when matters escalated, highlighting a lack of early intervention by school staff.Family engagement: Lower ranking due to observed inconsistencies in staff response to issues, especially involving parents with problematic behavior. However, when engaged with teachers, positive experiences in addressing classroom issues.Overall, I still enjoy my children going here because I know public school is not perfect and is what you make of it. I would recommend this school solely for the great impact these few teachers have made on my children, and am grateful for the help that they have provided. My one warning to others is that there is a clear lack of empathy for the children who have unstable support from their parents, instead, there only seems to be a job to do.Parent Review8mo ago - Washington Intermediate School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a ex student. I now go to high school. This school is pretty good but when its 8th grade, it gets more fun. In the end of the year, all the 8th graders get to go to 6 flags magic moutain. The teachers are pretty cool but the some of the students create so much drama with other students. There are fights but only about 4 a year. Nobody really gets hurt. The students are nice but a lot just act nice. My experience wasnt too bad. I kind of miss itOther Review9y ago - Dinuba High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA school on the move! The community has been very supportive by passing bonds and finding funding for a great number of facility improvements in the last eight years. The principal is stellar; she truly cares about ALL of her students and is passionate about their success. Extra curricular activities abound in a variety of areas. The Career Pathways curriculum focus encourages students to explore areas of interest and ability. A broad variety of pathways are available with technical, trade and college-bound emphasis. The Associated Student Body is very focused on student involvement and provides a broad variety of events, activities and overall FUN! Clubs and service opportunities are available to all in a broad range of interests. While the ELD academic performance still has room for improvement, it's not for lack of academic preparation on the school's part. Keep an eye on DHS, they are headed in the right direction!Parent Review14y ago - Check out schools near 232 E Hollow Way.
