N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of our kids have attended Chesak and experience through both have been great. The teachers and admin staff have been great. Every year our kids think their teacher is the best teacher they have had. They're skilled with pushing but not overburdening the students. Our daughter was able to get into advanced placement in her next school and hoping our son (in 1st grade now) will do the same. A big thank you to everyone at Chesak!!Parent Review2y ago - Martin Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are just not good. Let me explain. Also my son who is in 3rd grade. His class has a 24-1 ratio. My son keeps on telling me how bad his homeroom teacher is. He loves his specials teachers though. He once told me that one of his friends was yelled at by the teacher for not knowing an answer in math! He also said that the teacher made him cry because he needed help on the math test since he didn't know the answer to a question and the teacher said " YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS! YOU ARE IN THIS EXCELLED MATH CLASS FOR A REASON!" Yes it is an excelled math and reading class but my son isn't really good at math but hes amazing at reading. He said that he thinks that the teacher cares more about the math part than the reading part.Parent Review1y ago - Marlowe Middle School

"The school district is amazing, some neighborhoods are older generation though, not many kids around. Some neighborhoods feel they’re richer than others. Good shopping but route 47 as well as Randall road get contested. I love it here, just being real"

"Houses decorated for Halloween and Christmas. Bus tour to see Christmas light houses. We live close to Algonquin, Huntley, Crystal Lake, we can go any community event. The Sunset festival the best. I love the rock bands!"

"Not sure. I’m not a dog owner. I see many residents walking dogs, or having dogs in their yards. Not all neighbors have sidewalks. And most roads are narrow, only allowing 1 car to drive on, up and down steep hills. "
