Description

In the picture, I couldn't get the house on the right spot. The little house picture is on the 5 acre lot. We own from the beginning of the road if you scroll it down, halfway down to the fields on the other side of the house and behind the pool up to a certain extent. There is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Guest House next to the main house, connected by a covered porch area. It has a 10 car garage all of which are attached, but detached from the house and across the road. It is not a busy road at all. It also has a driveway capable of fitting 6-8 vehicles. We have been remodeling this year, starting with the upstairs bathroom; it has as follows: marble counter-tops, chrome fixtures, tile floors, jetted tub/shower, new toilet, dual vanity, updated lighting fixtures, and new paint. The kitchen hasn't been updated since the 70's, so we have as follows: granite counter-tops, cherry cabinets with glass doors and cabinet lighting, stainless steel appliances including a drawer microwave all by GE, tile floors, and all new chrome fixtures. The living room and family room has been updated with paint and we have buffed the hardwood floors. It also has a wood burning fireplace in the family room. The guest house use to be a slave house in the Civil War, and has been converted into a guest house with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms fully remodeled, a kitchen with updated appliances and a wood burning fireplace. We have put in a sun-house with electricity and storage next to the above ground pool. We also have a creek that flows through the property. The basement is unfinished and is used for storage but also has a 12inch thick concrete/steel bomb shelter that was added during the time of the Vietnam war. The land across the street, in the front, side, and back yard is all level. We have added a volleyball court and horseshoe pit across the road in the field and a garden. The back yard also has apple trees, cherry vines, and a pear tree. The driveway has been recently graveled and also has a bridge that crosses over the creek and into the back yard. The house also has well water and energy saving appliances and eco-friendly fixtures. We have recently added a deck off the screened in porch off the back and added a 8 person hot tub. Outside in between the guest house and main house is a patio area for barbecuing and also the sun-house is used for that also with a refrigerator and picnic table, it is also fully screened in. We've updated all the windows to double pane storm windows. The area with the hot tub was also extended to a entertaining area with a bar/deck. We've updated the lighting fixtures throughout and the ceiling fans. Behind the garages we've added RV parking with full electrical hookup for out of town guests, there are 4 spaces for 4 RV's. That's all we have done so far but plan on doing more in the future. On a side note, I am new to this. The house is fully paid off but cannot figure out how to have it say that, instead of the loan.
