    "I've been summering here for over 40 years and this place is still from another time. It is heaven on earth in the Summer and Fall. A gorgeous (and still relatively unknown) area replete with dozens of farms surrounded by the sea. The sandy and calm Peconic bay on one side (awesome for kids) and the dramatic sunset cliffs of the Sound (rocky beaches but colder water) on the other. The ocean is only 30 minutes away as well. A truly beautiful combination. Now add over 40 vineyards in a 30 mile stretch of land and you'll see for yourself how the North Fork is unlike any other place. All within 2 hours of midtown Manhattan. Unbelievable! The great restaurants are slowly coming as well. Get here while you can. "
